If you are one of those people who sleeps late or want to take advantage of the morning for another activity, then this is the best rafting option for your family and friends.
The activity begins by picking you up at your hotel or the tour reception office.
Then we will transfer in a modern and comfortable bus with air conditioning for approximately one hour to reach the Sarapiquí River.
Upon arrival at the Sarapiquí River we will dress you with the equipment (life jacket, helmet and paddle). The guides also offer a complete safety talk to ensure you enjoy a safe experience. All guides are bilingual, certified and with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
After the safety speech, you will do some practice with the guides, and you will begin the descent of the rapids with 2 hours to go down a 10 kilometer stretch with an average of 25 rapids, full of fun waves and great dips. Along the way, they will make a stop to enjoy some seasonal fruits such as pineapples, watermelons or mangoes, and we will rest in a pleasant place on the bank of the river.
As an optional activity, we also stop at a place where you can jump from a cliff, not too high and with enough depth, where the guides will give you tips and safety measures to be safe.
During the tour you will be able to appreciate a diversity of wildlife, as well as wonderful scenes of dense vegetation and landscapes, plus the water is clear and the temperature is perfect for swimming.
At the end of the tour, the driver will wait for you at our departure point, with the bus, water and towels. They will offer our clients tropical fruits, Costa Rican snacks and coffee. Here you can see the fun photographs of yourself in the rapids.
After enjoying some fruits and Costa Rican snacks, we will take you back to your hotel in La Fortuna or the tour reception office.
