Monteverde is located 116 kilometers (72 miles) from the city of Liberia Guanacaste, in the Province of Guanacaste Costa Rica. A mountainous city in the northwest, famous for its biodiverse forests.

In this option we can choose, it is a 2:30 minute tour in the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve that is home to an infinite number of fauna species that include jaguars, ocelots and resplendent quetzals with colorful feathers. On the marked trails of the reserve you can see ferns and orchids. It has high bridges that allow you to walk over the forest foliage.
Then we will go to have a delicious lunch at the Sabor Tico Restaurant in Santa Elena de Monteverde, where we will enjoy a pleasant atmosphere.
After finishing lunch time, we will go to (Don Juan Tours) to enjoy a coffee and chocolate tour of the plantations, history and its process. Right there we will go to Trapiche (sugar cane) where we will learn about its history, see the plantation, the process to make its derivatives and its tasting.
In this option you can enjoy a wonderful experience in Sky Adventure, where you can enjoy a trip over the landscape and the treetops in (Sky Tram), an adventurous enjoyment on the zip lines of (Sky Trek). Next we will go to have a delicious traditional lunch (Casado: rice, beans, proteins, salad, tortilla or banana and minced meat) in the restaurant on the same premises. We will continue with the last activity, we will walk along the hanging bridges (Sky walk) where we can find a wide variety of species of flora and fauna.
In this way we will finish the activities in this unforgettable place, and we will return to our clients' place of stay.
In this option we will go to a spectacular place, Selvatura Park, it is located 15 kilometers from the center of the Canton of Monteverde. In this place we can walk along the hanging bridges, here we have the possibility of appreciating a great variety of flora and fauna of Monteverde and observe the endemic biodiversity of the cloud forest canopy that is not found anywhere else in the world.
You will also have the experience of enjoying rappelling, Tarzan Swim and the spectacular underground superman Treetop trails provide the best vantage point to observe the beauty of the forest at all levels. You will also be able to see in the reptile and amphibian exhibition, one of the most beautiful living specimens of lizards, snakes and frogs collected from all over Costa Rica preserved in optimal conditions within the personalized natural environment.
And a beautiful butterfly garden with an area 300 feet long by 90 feet wide and 50 feet high, with different species found throughout Costa Rica. Here, if the client wishes, we can add the zip line activity in the cloud forest of this same park.
