It is located 86 kilometers (53.4 miles) northeast of the Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR) and 78 kilometers (48.4 miles) northeast of the City of Liberia Guanacaste. In the Province of Alajuela.
This small town is located in a valley between the Miravalles Volcano and the Tenorio Volcano, the perfect place to enjoy its beautiful nature.
It is a jungle in this part of the Province of Alajuela near the border between the province of Guanacaste and because it is a biological corridor it is home to many tropical species such as mammals, amphibians, reptiles and birds.

This option has a walk of approximately two hours and thirty minutes within the Tenorio Volcano National Park. Here we will find natural magic in a unique landscape.
The color of the "Río Celeste" popularly called (Buena Vista its original name), surrounded by a lush forest, offers a site worth seeing and admiring. It is a river with crystal clear waters that turn turquoise. It is a natural spectacle that can only be witnessed at the Teñideros site. It is a magical place that offers a wide variety of possibilities to observe the wonders of nature and phenomena that are difficult to find. Also right here you can see where the crystal clear waters (Río Quebrada Agria) and the Color Celeste river (Río Buena Vista) meet.
Then we will have lunch at a restaurant, a very traditional place with a beautiful butterfly garden. Next we will travel for 15 minutes and take a walk of one hour and thirty minutes along the trails, where we will find sightings of different types of plant species, orchids, birds, amphibians, reptiles and mammals such as: sloths, with luck we will be able to see tapirs, monkeys and more...
Finally we will return to the starting place, but on the way we will detour for approximately an hour, to also reach a beautiful waterfall called Llanos del Cortés, where you can take a natural bath with a duration of about 40 minutes of time there in that place.

In this option it is a tour (full day). We will take a tour of approximately 2.30 minutes within the Tenorio Volcano National Park.
In this place you can admire and enjoy the Natural Magic that exists in its popularly called “Celestial River”, its waters are tinted with a turquoise color that makes it unique.
We continue the course where we will reach a waterfall, then a viewpoint where you can see the vegetation of the forest and finally where the river of celestial waters (Buena Vista) joins the river of crystal clear waters (Quebrada Agria) to give a beautiful natural spectacle.
Immediately after leaving the park we will go to have lunch at a restaurant where you can enjoy a traditional meal where we can find a beautiful butterfly garden and the great possibility of bird watching in the area.
Then we will go on a walk, a tour of approximately one hour along the trails where we will find sloths, monkeys, birds (toucans, motmots and more), there the environment of many species of spectacular frogs such as: red-eyed frog (Agalychnis callidryas ). Blue Jeans (Oophaga pumilio) and appreciating the habitat of each species.
Finally we will go on a cultural tour, a tour of the banana, coffee, sugar cane and chocolate plantations. Here the preparation of the previous products and their tasting will be done.
We will leave that place and return to the place of departure (your accommodation)

Depends on where you stay until the rainforest. Our first activity is the National Park, a walk of approximately two hours and thirty minutes inside it, seeing its beautiful waterfall “Río Celeste”, its popular name.
Then we will head to the dry cleaners.On this tour we will be able to appreciate a beautiful viewpoint, as well as a turquoise lagoon and the union of a river with crystal clear waters (Quebrada Agria) and the beautiful turquoise river originally called (Buena Vista).
After appreciating the natural landscape in this park, we will go to have a delicious traditional lunch.
We will do the last activity, get ready to live moments of action and adventure while you navigate the pools and rapids of the Río Celeste. The river offers a variety of conditions, from calm pools where you can relax and admire the beauty of the surroundings, to exciting rapids that will get your heart rate up.
The Río Celeste tubing tour is a perfect adventure for anyone looking for a combination of excitement and natural beauty. Here we end our day of adventure through this beautiful forest and we will go to our place of stay.
