The Miravalles Volcano is a volcanic complex with an elevation of 2028 meters above sea level, and located approximately 50 minutes from the city of Liberia.
Here we will take a beautiful tour of the slopes of the volcano. We will pass through the main town and your guide will give a brief explanation and historical overview of the most important and productive activities of Miravalles.
First we will arrive at the reception at the site of the activities and then take a horseback ride of approximately 45 minutes on the slopes of the Volcano..
Next we will take a tour of the facilities of the place to see trees, medicinal plants and plantations, the process and tasting of coffee, chocolate and sugar cane. In the same place there is a small museum called "La Casona" where we will find a wooden house that is more than a hundred years old and you can find many.
After the second activity we will go to enjoy an hour in the pools of hot springs extracted from a source of the volcano.
Finally, after the third activity at the hot springs, we will take our transportation to the trails for a short walk of approximately 40 minutes in search of wildlife: sloths, toucans and more.
To finish this tour, we will go to a beautiful restaurant in the area to have a delicious lunch of typical food cooked over a wood fire.
This is how we finish our entire tour and return to our place of stay.
