Las Hornillas Miravalles Volcano, Are Located in Bagaces, Guanacaste, Costa Rica, 65 kilometers (40.3 miles) southeast of the Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR) and 56 kilometers (34.7 miles) southeast of the city of Liberia.
It is a site with a spectacular view of the Miravalles Volcano, with volcanic activity on its slopes. Its perfect combination between nature and hike in secondary craters.
You can see different types of wonderful species because of the location between two volcanoes that form a biological corridor as it is (Miravalles and Tenorio).
You can also ride a horse and take a 20-minute tour until you reach the two hanging bridges where you will observe the Pacific Ocean from that point and some beatiful waterfalls, where in one of them you can take a cold water bath.
After finishing that tour, we will go down in the private transport to the restaurant of the same place and we will have lunch typical food (Casado). We will continue with a small tour of the secondary craters, likewise you can appreciate the volcanic activity and its fumaroles, next we will go to a natural sauna made by a volcano vent.
After we will go to the two mud pools and then to the hot springs to finish the activities in this place.
Finally, you will meet some beautiful Waterfall called Llanos del Cortés where if you wish you can enjoy a 30-minute natural bath. So we finish and we will return to the place of departure.
